Who ships my coffee?
The store that holds each bag ships it. For Blue Bottle, Counter Culture, Verve, Sightglass, Ritual, Equator and 14 other roasters, that is The Epicurean Trader, a specialty grocer in San Francisco. For Thanksgiving, Artizan, Spirit Origin, Kochere, Oak & Bond, Clout, Kirenge Gold, Little Wolf, Elm and Three Avocados, the roaster ships its own coffee. Every product page names its shipper.
Why did my order come in more than one box?
Each shipper sends its own box. An order with bags from two shippers arrives in two boxes, often on different days. Bags from the same shipper travel together.
When will my order ship?
Each shipper has its own schedule. Some ship within 2 business days. Kochere, Little Wolf and Elm roast your coffee on set days before it ships. Spirit Origin roasts in Honduras and dispatches on Tuesdays. The shipping page lists every shipper.
Can I return coffee?
Yes, unopened bags. Start a return within 30 days of delivery and we send a free return label. You get your refund after the bag reaches the shipper. Opened bags cannot be returned. See the returns policy.
How fresh is the coffee?
Kochere roasts each order after you place it. Little Wolf, Elm, Kirenge Gold and Spirit Origin roast on set days each week. For the other shippers, the roast date is printed on the bag, not shown before you order.
